Cupcakes and Rainbows

Hello, long time no see!

I’ve been meaning to write more blog posts, but some very sad and unfortunate family circumstances forced me to postpone a few weeks. But I’m back and I have another blog post lined up for you next week, so watch this space! 🙂 I decided to make this post a colourful and happy one, because I feel like I need some more of that in my life. You can never have enough of that kind of thing, right?

This is going to be a regular outfit post with some new things I picked up recently. I took the photos for this a while ago, already and my hair has faded quite a bit in the meantime, but I still hope you like it. The hair dye is Manic Panic Rockabilly Blue, and I got it and the septum piercing from Blue Banana! The turquoise I had early still shines through a little, making it a lovely ocean blue! As usual I made the flower crown myself. I don’t know if I would purchase the hairdye again, as it washed out in about two weeks. Maybe there’s another brand that I can use in the future that stays in longer. I really like the colour though, so if you’re looking for something very pretty that isn’t permanent, this will do just nicely!

I’m wearing an amazing jacket that I found at Vintage per Kilo, which is an awesome and cheap vintage event in the Netherlands where you can shop vintage clothing for 15 euros per kilo. I love this find, and it was very cheap too. It fits like a glove! I paired it with my dress from Black Milk Clothing. Sadly it’s not available anymore, but it is one of my favourites and it matches my jacket perfectly.

The shoes are pink Ban Joes from Irregular Choice and I got the socks as a gift from my mother.  The adorable cupcake bag (just big enough to fit my phone and some money in!) is from Blue Banana.  The socks are just a bit off colour because I accidentally washed one of them with red, but I think it looks kinda cute!

And here is everything together! I love how my hair matches my outfit today. There’s so much going on but somehow it fits together. What do you think?

I hope to see you next time! ❤
